Hey everyone, I'm wanting to find some good locations to take our 12 yr old fishing off the bank. We live in limestone county but looking for good spots, I know some people don't like giving up their spots I just want my boy to have a great time and any tips on bait and best time to go would be greatly appreciated too, thanks yall!!

Welcome aboard Sabrina, you're find good friends here that can help you with that question, I live in central Florida so I'm not much help except you can always check with a local bait shop they are good about helping out with where and what they hear from other fishmans, hope you the best of luck and remember we like to see pictures of your catch 🎣🎣 Chuck

Idk where you are close too but wheeler dam has a lot of shoreline to wet a line

Take the 20 west towards Florence east of Rodgersville. At Elgin crossroads turn left on the 101 towards Town Creek. It's about 4 miles south after the left tun.
Ps...look for boat ramp signs along the way. Those are all good bank fishing spots

There's also a park on the north side of Decatur. Lots of places around there! If you have Google maps you can locate very accessible places
