Hey Y’all, I’m 75 retired and love to Trout and crappie fish. I will they would give a fishing report on the upper end of the White River. Also a report from Reelfoot lake.
Hey a-f, your best bet is to #1, go to the AGFC app and sign up for the weekly newsletter and weekly fishing report. They give current info on what baits are working well and what the water conditions are. It is given by local guides and resort owners who depend on customer satisfaction so the info is usually spot on. The #2 thing would be to contact the folks at Bull Shoals Lake Boat Dock or tackle shops near the upper part of the river or hire a guide for a half day trip to pick up on how to rig and what baits are catching fish. I would also suggest that you hit White Hole access area at Fairview or Wildcat Shoals upriver from Cotter or try at the Cotter access area near the bridge. Good luck and post some pics of your catch and of the beautiful scenery in the area. Just a couple pics of our most recent trip.
