I am located in Largo Florida and fish the piers and wade fish the beaches would like to hear from other Florida's and where they fish.
I fish from my kayak around the Tampa and St Pete area.

Have you ever fished the Brooksville area? I am coming down from VA. in March for 2 weeks and I'm hoping to bring my kayak. I've never been on salt water with it before, all river fishing. Wondered if you had any info or tips on that area. Thanks

Under the bridge in Clearwater has been good at night. In a boat, also up by Honey moon island
I haven’t ventured that far but there is good fishing all along the Nature Coast. A few items of caution in Florida saltwater fishing: be aware of your location at all times, it’s easy to get lost in the mangroves if you are not familiar with the area and keep an eye on the weather. Florida storms can form very quickly. Have fun!
Fred howard island is a nice spot
