I have a 308 and others (both the 300 & 400 series in storage). We'll be out of town through the 16th, send me your email address. After we get back and I have the opportunity, I'll go to storage and provide you a list.

Ordering bail springs for my wife's 308 I saw quite a few on ebay. $40. range. Most claim recent service. I buy two springs, one for the reel. One to lose on the floor.

A wise decision Sport. I now lack the dexterity for this replacement, but there's a local guy in my area who can do it for a modest fee, when need be. Can't fish much now, due to some medical issues, but I keep the Mitchells bagged and lubed with WD-40, and don't expect any more fails.

Yep. My mitts are funky, binocular glasses and can't barefoot for stepping on springs. I need a guy.
