I'm heartbroken and sad to say That we have lost another great Stager ,,, my Friend and fellow Stager Tocino, just got off Text, & Phone that Spirit passed away in May, He had a Seizure, Greg talked to his Wife Kathy of 55 years, and relayed the sad news,,,, Spirit you rocked my My Fishing Stage World Chief ,,, let's say Go Spirit of 27 , 1 of the original great persons here on Stage , I won't show the prayer sign in honor of his Wishes , 😣🌿🕊🤙🇺🇸 Thank You Greg Tocino ✌

Thank you Robert for posting as your name on the Stage is much more recognizable than mine.
I lurked on the stage for several years. Retired, wanted to go fishing. Hadn’t fished in 40+ and was kind of intimidated and found the Stage. As I followed and got to know the “characters” (you’re all characters you know) I met “Spirit27” and “Jarheadfishinfool” (Paul and Robert) and started engaging offline. I contacted Paul and asked if he’d like to take this 68 year old out fishing and show me how to do it again. He took a chance and we met on the American River with his wife Kathy. Didn’t catch a thing but I learned a few things and gained a friend.
I learned more than dipping a line. I learned that Paul with all of his feistiness had a huge heart. In a large part, all of you were his family.
The Stage has lost one of its characters. Please share your thoughts and I will share with Kathy.
Now, GET OFF OF PAUL’S LAWN!

I had some exchanges with Paul on the Stage. We had some similar beliefs. He will be missed. Somebody keep an eye on his lawn.
