Went out yesterday to the pond, first time out in a month or so. Got there early before any wind came up. Caught about 8 largemouth, all on drop-shot and Texas rig crawdad, all released.
Not real big but sure fun!
Friday went for a leisure paddle in kayaks with friends on the Madison river. Lots of eagles on the river.
Have a great Labor Day everyone!

The Madison is a beautiful stream and quite deserving of its reputation. Great pictures, thanks Tim.

Thanks guys, hardly get skunked at this pond Fred. It’s a great little fishery. Second time I’ve floated this stretch Wulffy, some fishy looking runs and pools for sure. Ranger the cliffs are beautiful full of swallows, and many of them on this stretch. The put in spot is aptly named Grey Cliffs.
