I have a Hook Reveal 9, that the transducer plug receptacle had broken on the back of the unit. Need someone who can repair it or point me in the right direction to find a new back housing for the unit. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your reply. I did get in touch with Lowrance today and they gave me the information to send the unit to them. I think I could have fixed it myself if I could find the parts but no luck. Might have saved me some bucks. I really like the unit, I have it dialed in now and it works well for me.

I always take it off the boat when off the water. Hooked it back up and Sonar said stopped. Checked the connections and when I look inside the transducer plug slot I could see a could of the pins looked lower than the others. Took the back off and found the receptacle was broken. It has never been dropped or banged around. I can only guess that when everyone tells you to make sure the plug is in up to the last ring you can push too hard and this is what happens.

Tight lines.

It’s amazing how much Lowrance products have dropped in quality and reliability since they moved their assembly facilities to Ensenada Mexico! So much for their claim to being made in America! Made in America, assembled in Mexico! A once great American product now only concerned about the bottom line! They closed their Tulsa Oklahoma assembly plant costing over two hundred good paying jobs to move to a new assembly plant in Edsenada! Good luck!!

Yes, it is sad the quality of their products has gone down. I have heard and read so many complaints about Lowrance. I was thinking about changing to Hummingbird, but I come accustomed to Lowrance products.

When I bought my Lowrance I did look at them and Hummingbird. It was all the reviews I read and youtube videos I watch that pushed me to the Lowrance. Not really sorry that I did but if problems continue, I will be switching to another brand.
