Went out for a while last night, caught 5 and lost 4 still can't get a good hook set cause of the neck. It was HOT out and the fish were in 20 to 25 ft of water off the end of points. There were fish off every point I stopped just had to fish deep for em. NO Armadillos last night, maybe I've killed most of them close to me.

Nice catching Mike. Sorry the neck is still holding you back. The word is out among the Armadillos, you'll get lead poisioning at Ivey's house. Thanks for sharing brother.

It's a whole different world at night around my place.. No ski boats or other boats for that matter, think I saw two boats last night. I've always loved being under the stars, I could sit and look for hours and never make a cast.
Our water surface temps are at 87* now so day time fishing is really tough, slip out after dark and the fish are a little more cooperative, no crowd at the ramp and no boat traffic on the water. My kind of fishing.

Once the dew falls the skeeters and most of the other bugs go away and we had a early heavy dew fall last night.
