Well we got to the launch bout 0630 and started fishin bout 0700. However, we didn't catch our first dish till bout 0710, after we started trollin. No fish castin today.
We continued to catch small fish for the first 6 fish or so then we landed a 22 incher so we put it in the box.
Fished pretty hard and only had 9 or10 fish by noon and no others we wanted to keep. We had caught a couple that were bout 18 inches but we didn't want to keep them.
Bout 1pm we decided to take a long run down to the mouth of the river so the guys could see more of what the Pet offers down there.
On the way back we stopped and started trollin the lower river and caught a few small ones and then another 22 incher so we had 2 in the well now.
We continued to fish till bout 230pm and decided to call it a day.
We only landed 16 fish today and just kept the two 22 inchers.
We did miss a half dozen or more hits but that's fishin, not catchin.
Just the 1 pic of them before the fillet board.

Yeah 16 is a fair number but no where near 48.
What can I say Fred. We've already determined that I'm spoiled with the number of fish we sometimes catch.
I'm just tryin to spoil all the people I take out with me.

Yep, spoiled is definitely the word. I'm overjoyed to catch 48 stripers in a fall season.
It sounds like a fine day Steve.
Beats the heck out of crawling under houses!
Always fun to check new water!
How far down did you go?

I took the boys all the way out in San Pablo Bay maybe 3/4 of a mile or so.
Showed them some of the places we fish if we're goin out there. Which isn't often.

Steve, thanks for another great day aboard the “FISH FINDER”. Yes it wasn’t up to our standards but the tides were not in our favor. Still put fish on the boat! My boat should be ready tomorrow. Maybe George and I can meet you and Ben on the Napa next week. Love to learn from u on another of your fishing holes. U know how George loves throwing swim baits!! P.S. the eye is much better today!👍👍👍

Not sure I'll be here. Might have to get back up to Tahoe.

Understood. Take care of business buddy. I’m sure there will be many days in the future! Maybe we will hit the Petaluma next week. Dying to test out my new electronics
What a nice day on the water!!! We are spoiled but landing a 16 fish (knowing how many hits and misses you can get) plus a couple of 22" for the live well. Well done!!!
