Fishing the Columbia, no luck in the last 3 days. Wondering if anyone has any information about the behavior or patterns of the salmon around this time, or what type of gear is catching them best.
FROM CHICAGO, I KNOW HOW WE GET THEM FROM SHORE THERE, AND WHAT KIND OF LURES.

My son, grandson and myself have spent 3 days in the past week in the B10 area. We hooked 6, I landed 3 and released 1. For most, it’s been a slow start to the season. Very few coho being caught and the chinook are being quite finicky.
My luck has been when using a chrome shortbus 360 flasher on an 18” bumper, 28” leader (line only) and a spinner along with 20 ounces of led.
I’ve used all the spinners in my tackle box but every chinook I’ve caught in the last two years at the in the B10 area has been on the same spinner including the big one from last year (which is why it missing most of its paint).
Don’t know what’s working for coho this year because we haven’t gotten any.
The B10 fishery is dependent on being at the right place during tide changes.
