Reminds me of a favorite Dylan line, "Build me a cabin in Utah. Marry me a wife, catch rainbow trout. Have a bunch of kids that call me Paw. That must be what life's all about."

I wish I had a cabin on one of these lakes! I can hardly think of something better than that!

Welcome back stuco, beautiful lake & great addition to the family 👍👍

Thanks E! She’s a handful, but she’s so much fun it’s worth it. Last time we got a puppy we had a house full of kids to wear her out. Now she’s wearing my wife an I out. It’ll either keep us young or do us in. Either way it’ll be a fun ride.

I haven’t been around the stage much, but I’m still alive and kicking. The first picture is from a trip with a buddy Friday before last. I only took a picture of the prettiest one we caught. We both got limits and let a few go. It was a beautiful day with delightful weather. The next day I went south by myself. I only caught the one rainbow, but had a great trip. I love living here in Utah. There are so many beautiful places to go.
We got that puppy Memorial Day weekend. She’s keeping us busy but is a lot of fun. One of my sons and I are talking about going camping this weekend. I hope to have more pictures to share. I’m not great about remembering to take pictures but every now and then I do.

Good for you! My misspent youth may keep me from getting to retire and enjoy it. Keep it up!

You still didn’t get those scones I sent? Mailman probably smelled em and couldn’t resist. When you come back I’ll take you out and we’ll find some scones.

Molly is her name. She’s got lots more energy than I do. I hope when I get her trained a bit she can become my fishing buddy.

Well my skiing days are long behind me and working there again most likely will never happen.

However, when Dozer Dave heads this way on his morning walk and I on my morning walk head that way. Maybe if we meet in Utah the 3 of us can scarf down a dozen or so scones. Might need that honey butter for the walk back.

Give Molly a pat on the head and a rub of the chin for me. She's a cutie.

I'll look forward to that magical mystical day! Instead of eating cloud sandwiches and rainbow stew, we'll be eating scones with mountains of honey butter.
