I'm going to be fishing on Lake Ocklawaha & Rodman Reservoir next week for Bass and Specks. Any suggerstions on bait and or lures to try for this time of the year. I'll be using my kayak and looking for good spots to fish from on the shore. Will appreciate any feed back. Thanks in advance.

Leaving for Rodman State Park Monday. I'll be back on the 25th. Going to Sebastion State Park on 9/4 ,be back on 9/15. I'll be home in Leesburg for a while after 9/15. Week of 8/27 - 9/2 is open so far.

I have always found Rodman tough this time of year unless I was there at safe light. I heard from a friend that this is the year for another drawdown. Can anyone confirm that?
