Welcome to the Forum, snooky. There has been a lot of talk about the KastKing reels on here lately but I don't have one or expect to buy one, so, I haven't paid any attention to what has been said, sorry. You could try putting KastKing reels in the search bar at the top page and see what shows up. Have a good day!

I have Speed Demon baitcaster, love it ,and a Speed Demon Rod.Didn't buy them as a combo, but love both of them.No problems, compares well with all I've used before.I fish on a budget not to tight, but don't like to waste money on overly expensive gear.Love the Shimano,Lew's and Abu equipment, but I don't fish for a living,so any setup over 400 dollars is overkill,it doesn't catch more fish than a 100 dollar combo.Fishing is getting a little pricey when you consider the fish don't care how much your equipment cost before they bite.Never heard of a fish that went back and told the others he was hooked on 500 $ setup, because he dont bite no "cheap shit" i only get hooked on the best .That said ,Kast King is a great value TO ME!!They work well, dependable and catch fish.!!That's what counts right? Oh ,and the price is great!!!

I use their stuff all the time. I have never had a problem. Some of their reels really let you dial them in, like the Assassin. Others are more idiot proof. Their Perigee Rods are very good for a good price, especially their two piece. Their Calamus rod as well. I agree with the guy that praised the Sharkey 3. It is a tank. I have some expensive set-ups, and they are nice, but most of the time I grab my blue Royal Legend Elite and a little 13 Fishing Fate Neon light rig I have and head out the door. As a matter of fact, about to do that very thing...lol!!

Have 4 baitcasters. 1 Speed demon and 3 Royal legends. Also 3 sharky III spinning. Reliable reels with smooth operation. Would match them with my Penn's shimanos and diawas any time. They produce quality at affordable prices. No middleman sales through Amazon or their own website. Rods reels and accessories.

I have a Speed Demon on my froggin' rod, great reel. You can cast it a mile, I use 65lb braid and I believe the 9.3 to 1 ratio is the fastest you can get.

I own a speed demon , the handle is a little big which I assume makes up some of the retrieve speed . But I , like Rooster use it for my Froggin’ rod . I also own 2 Royal Legends , which, I would recommend over the speed demon unless you are buying it for a special use .
I can t say that Kastking as smooth as my high dollar Shimanos reels are , while I own a bunch , but they are very functional, good value and serve every task that I need . I have read
the criticisms on this site but found that 95% of the negative comments are second hand . If your looking for a Shimano Curado DC , they are not there , but they don t cost 250 each . There are quality products at an exceptional price

Hi. Very interesting reading. Kastking is quality at a reasonable price. I'm a CA bass tournament guy. My equipment has evolved to all Kastking, we're talking about 30 rods and reels. What got me started was the weight issue. These set ups allow you to feel the tiniest of a nibble. Then came the castability, outstanding. Now that's for the Assassin, Royal Legend, Speed Demon with Perigree II rods in a variety of sizes. Speed Demon is perfect for a jerk bait, best I've used. I choose equipment and techniques to win tournaments.Ask Brent Chapman on the Bass Pro Tour why he's all Kastking? Start with the Royal Legend and a Perigree II rod and you won't look back. I.m on the water twice a week 52 weeks a year. Kastking works.
