Ventured out to DVL this morning, and most of the algae is gone but not totally. Really didn't know what to expect.
Wound up with eleven "Dinks". Don't usually take pics of anything smaller than 2lbs but had to take one just to show I was there. Water level still coming up and looking more like it use too. Would love to have caught some bigger ones, but oh well got out and had some fun.
Whopper of the day...............lol!
See the reeds sticking up? This was an island about 20ft out of water just a few months ago
Test for you........find the coyote!

Definitely no Skunk buddy. The water level still has quite a ways to go, eh? . Thanks for the pictures Garey, and I'm sending you the 2 'Yotes I see.

Yep, still a ways to go. If everything goes to schedule, maybe next year will be really good. Only one coyote, hard to see as it was a really light colored one.
Far left, near the top of the shadow line.
Hey, any fish in my book is a GOOD fish πP.S. what are they now charging to get in there ?

Good catching day, I'd say, OBG! The dink you're holding would be considered a respectable size in the waters around here in northern VA. I see one, possibly two coyotes middle right just to the left of the bush on the right border, above the shadow but below the hill in the background.

Actually the coyote was in the middle of the rocks. Fred picked out two animals (deer) up above in a dry patch.

It is better than a skunk! Wed. is half price day (ha ha). Cost me $21. Any other day for a senior vet by themselves with a boat is $27. If I had my buddy with me it is $38. I had an interesting conversation with the gal at the booth about what half of $27 was.

It is getting there, but it is still going to take the rest of the year in my opinion. I did see one massive bass following one of the dinks I was bringing to the boat. I stopped a couple of feet from the side hoping he would take it, but it swam away. Good luck if you go out there. All fish were caught on that color senko I told you about. Did have a couple of taps on the green pumpkin.
