New member here I fish the surf and piers along the crystal coast. I have been fishing a long time but I’m new to the Carolina coast. Still learning!

Hi, thanks, looking forward to it.
Thanks, I'm learning I just wish I had a boat. I do get a beach pass for emerald island but it's only good for September to April. I am always looking for locations and piers in my location.
I'm getting really tired of catching pin fish at the dock in Carteret.
It would be nice to find a place with bigger fish.

Yes, the plus is in the fall month's the fish are headed back to Florida, so there's a good variety of fish in the surf, such as sea mullet(whiting), puppy drum, spots, bluefish, pompano and sea trout. Just gonna depend on the bait you use, etc. When the tides high with clean water, a sting silver will catch Spanish Mackerel, false albacore, that love to chase the glass minnows. You can call The Reel Outdoors tackle shop, or Bogue pier, and they can keep you up on what's biting, etc... good luck DD!
