I'd like some advice on catching some northerns on poplar lake in Polk county WI. I have a camper and boat at Northern detour campground on poplar lake. So for, no luck. Since luck isn't working, maybe some knowledge will. Any advice is welcome.

Drift over grass bed in deep water with a red devil spoon with Chrome flash on the bottom side always works for me,
Good luck ππ½ππ½π£π£π£πππ π πππΊπΈπΊπΈπ¦

Anything flashy n moving fast.
I've caught pike on every thing in my tackle box. Whether i was trying to catch one or not.
Not familiar with that lake, but Northerns are ambush predators. Fish the outside edges of weeds, near submerged logs, etc. Use a Johnson Silver Minnow with a trailer, a Mepps spinner, a yellow 5 of Diamonds Daredevle spoon, or red and white or black and white. Good luck!
That lake is great for bass and pan fish. I occasionally get bit off while fishing for them. I don't want any snot rockets in my boat anyway
Don't really have any advice for you but I hope you figure it out!

Generally concentrate on 4-10 feet of water. Ideal is to find 1-3 feet of open water over weedbeds. If the weed line is abrupt due to stained water; then troll or cast along the deep edge of the weedline. Use any plug or spoon you wish. When pike go on a bite; keep your fingers out of the water. Good luck.

Just my 2-cents.
Red & white are pike colors.
Don't neglect a spinner bait.
If you're top water inclined the Whopper Plopper can be killer or if you're really adventurous check out this you tube.
