My buddy and I picked out this pup about a week or so ago. She’s 6 and 1/2 weeks old now and made her first point on a grouse wing. He was originally going to name her Brynn but on his daughter’s request changed it to Asa. She’s a Llewellin Setter from a litter of 5 females which is a bit unusual. We’ll pick her up at the end of the month. Quite excited, we’ll get her out after the stocked birds this fall.

She’s a little sweetheart just like the rest of the litter plumb. My buddy lost his GSP this past winter so she’s going to help fill that void.

They do have a way of filling that void. We don't have the house now for one since moving back and that void still there. Good for your bud, hope all goes well.

Great start, and she is a cutie!
I have to hunt with other friends dogs this year as we put Sam the Wonderdog down late, last Spring.
Best of luck with her!

Thanks Ridley, she’ll have a good home. He’s got a small farm and she’ll be right at home with the rest of the critters.

Never seen a puppy that wasn’t Gary. Wish there was a serum to prolong puppyhood.

Sorry to hear about Sam, we use to call my buddy’s English Max “ the Superguy”.
