Welcome aboard. Give it some time for someone from your area to come along with some advice. Where in NY did you leave?

Delaware isn't that close to the Delaware River?
I may be thinking of another town 👍

You left behind a very good football team. I should know. I'm a Dolphin's fan. Good luck on your relocation. You should find some great fishing spots there.
Look on google for ponds in the area. Lots of fresh water opportunities. Largemouth, chain pickerel, bream, perch. Might have to drive a bit, but it is only Delaware. Can’t go too far.
Millsboro pond is a good place to start. Lots of good fishing near you

Delaware is 13 miles wide at its shortest distance. Delaware is quite close to the Delaware Bay and Delaware River… obviously. Fishing is usually lights out there as well as the back bays of Rehoboth and Lewes, from Cape May to Ocean City MD. Enjoy
Largemouth Bass fishing in ponds is fun and challenging. Look on YouTube for Delaware Bass Fishing to get suggestions for lures and rod / reel setups. Techniques vary by season. Good luck and remember to post some pics when you catch something.
