Just looking for places to catch fish in SoInd near New Albany region. Have been to Deam lake, Patoka and Buffalo Trace. Have had no catches anywhere. We are newbies to fishing and any advice would also be great.

Glad you are here, I'm in Florida but I'm sure someone can help soon.
Remember to keep a tight line 🎣🎣
More info would help a bunch. What are you fishing for? Boat or no boat. Not familiar with the other lakes, but fish Patoka a lot. Might be able to help with a bit more info.
Thanks for your questions. We will be fishing from the shore. Fishing for bluegill, crappie as the likes. We are going to kings bridge today, if that doesn't work we were going to head to Walls.
Not to familiar with bank fishing to much but do see a lot of folks around King's Bridge. Another place I see a lot of bank fishing is just passed Painters Ramp going back into Painters Cove. They park at the back of parking lot and go over the hill. Trying to think of any place else. If I do will post.

Welcome to the Stage! What are you wanting to catch and are you bank fishing or do you have a boat?

Thanks all. We fished at King's Bridge ramp. We were there for about two hours with just a little activity. Then, starting the third hour, it opened up. Mostly blue gill and red ear, nothing larger than the palm of my hand, but still fun. We caught about 25 fish.
Thanks again.
Thanks Billy Bob. We went to King's Bridge and had a ton of fun.
Thanks.
