Hey Littlejoe, you are a little too far south for me or Spirit to help you out. Now if you was to want to drive a little further north I might be able to help you out. Spirit lives in Sacramento area and I'm further west than that. Good luck and tight lines.

Hello Forum been following for a while. First post on central California fishing today. Naciemento lake resort. Skunked but had awsome fun with my daughters. Their learning and it's fun teaching. Fish are going deep and even tracker boats are having trouble catching.

I have not fished Nacimiento but I know a couple of guys who have. Stripers in there, right? And seems to me, a healthy population of white bass? Skunked don't matter if you the girls enjoyed yourselves. That's still a good day. Welcome to the forum.

Hey SP, welcome to the forum. So glad to hear you takin your daughters fishin. I have 2 daughters , grown now, that I use to try to take fishin. I didn't have the patience to take them very much, I only wish I would have. If I had it to do over again I think I would try to take them one at a time instead of together. That way I could have given all my attention to just the one. But I was stream fishin and couldn't keep them from constantly getting hung up. Live and learn. I have one grand daughter now and I take her out fishin almost every time we get together. Maybe I can make it up a little with her. Keep up the good work, and tight lines.

Order of operations she said .. she casted 8 times successfully. She got it in her veins now. She said I had the most fun ever daddy and asked me when will we go fishing again. First time I actually concentrated on teaching her thoroughly since I knew the fish were deeper and weren't going to catch squat. 🤯🤣 one 9 year old down and one five year old to go.

Treasure every min. you get with them, time goes by so quickly you wonder where it went. Remember to always keep it fun for them, if they aren't havin fun, stop and go do something else. As long as they are havin fun they will want to do it again. If they don't have fun then they won't want to go any more.....
