New to NH fishing and would like suggestions for shore fishing Merrimack, Belknap, Strafford, Hillsborough counties. Mobility is limited on steep banks, long hikes and rocky areas. Thanks
Live bait, or artificial lures?
If live bait use slip bobbers which can be adjusted to the depth of the fish.
Good luck!

The internet can be a big help. Go to search type in slip bobber and it will show you what it is. Go to YouTube and search for fishing with slip bobbers.
Walmart sells bobber, i use the red and white round ones that can easily be adjusted up and down the line for depth, check a tackle shop in the area you go to, i've been fishing in a place that not many fish, i have had no luck with lures, but real good with worms...go to NH Fish and Game website, they have a drop down window titles fishing, go to publication and you can read about all the fish and their habitats etc
This may sound a little weird, but what I've been doing is just putting a couple of sinkers and a hook with a worm on my rod and just casting it out as far as it will go. I let it sink down to the bottom, and then kinda slowly retrieve it. I have caught a whole bunch of really big bluegills using this method. They do not sell cane poles up here so I tried using a bobber on my rod but the cork got in the way when I brought the line in. And I found out that the really big Bluegills are really deep while the smaller ones are nearer the surface, so I came up with this approach and it has been very effective. But, I do fish from a boat on the Connecticut river so I am not too concerned about snags and all. I hope this helps.
