Have not posted in a few years but while I was in Florida in February, I got some really good fighting peacock bass.

They are everywhere below Jupiter. Stocked in the 1980’s. Great fighting fish.

Awesome I take my oldest boy down there fishing every year and he talks about catching one of them maybe this year I’ll get to the canals and let him snag a few

Nice. Looks like you're fishing in one of the canals. Did you use lures or live bait (shiners? worms?) I used to fish with some success in one of the reservoirs in the Croton area in Westchester. Thanks for posting.
