Very nice fish Brad! Congratulations to you and Gregg! You always on the fish! Keep up the great catching buddy!

Thank you Matt, now and then like to take a break for the stripers, walleyes, salmon and lakers but those crappies have me memorized. I’m on a mission to get one 18”, maybe an unrealistic dream but it is sure fun trying.

Thanks Papa, the season is winding down here and wanted to make one last try. It worked out pretty well.

Wow Brad. Those are beautiful fish. Congrats to you both. Thanks for the pics.

Thanks Steve, the boy and I had a fine time. The striper fishing is coming to an end here but fall is on the way when they move back down from up north. Not unheard of to catch up to 100 during that time for a boat of 4, often bang them on topwaters which to my tastes gets no better.

Out for stripers yesterday with oldest son Gregg. Threw 6” bunker patterned paddle tails around structure and came up with 7 landed fish and lost a few. Each kept our 1 slot fish which currently is 28-38” but by July 2 will max out at 31”. We caught 1 short, one too large and kept 2 at 34”. Gregg had one strike from a bluefish that ripped his swimbait apart but didn’t land it. Beautiful and fun day with the kid.

Nice fish guys. Don't recognize the structure. Were you in NJ?

Harry, we were about a mile downriver on the Raritan in New Jersey below the route 287 bridge or whatever the road is that crosses the Raritan river. With GPS I no longer pay attention to route #’s.

Striper catching with your son is a good day on the water. Thanks for sharing.
