Went carping in 80 degree Robert G Martin Lake this evening on a warm, cloudy day with a light northwest wind. Threw out a can of corn 🌽 for chum, then caught and released 11 brown bullheads, 3 bluegills and my first feral goldfish for this year with my homemade corn meal bait, whole kernel corn and an unbaited #14 gold treble hook on 2 lb test line. Caught my 1,900th fish 🎣 for this year

Haven’t seen one of those reels w rear and “fighting drag” in years. I had an old shimano similar and liked it. Nice catching!

JD have one or two of them. Haven't used them for yrs but I did like that feature 👍
