Nice looking truck and impala. My 56 big window with a 350. In 1970 I had an other 56 Chevy truck with a 350 hp 327 corvette motor. High winding motors. I had a 1964 chevelle 2 door wagon with a built 327 6 miles to the gallon in 1974. Can never have enough toys.

We didn't worry too much on gas prices then at 19 to 21 cents a gallon and cars or trucks today aren't as pretty as the older models.

Here’s my ride, 67 Pontiac Firebird, 383 Chev. stroker engine, ran consistent 10.2 second quarter miles! What a blast!

That’s pretty fast! My friend has a 66 GTO he bought new when he got out of the army in 66, it’s a 4 barrel motor that he had a 700 R trans put in and otherwise one paint job and has the stock interior. He’s 82 and 2 years ago he found out he had a daughter from his first marriage that he didn’t know about and he’s leaving it to her, lucky girl. He also has a 28 ford show truck with a blown 327 in it. I raced 1/4 mile in 63 before the Christmas tree lights. “Fast cars forever”
