Was there a couple weeks ago marked no Kokanee. All we caught were rainbow. Going to give it a shot Sunday and will update with hopefully better news!

Fished LP for 6 hrs today. Landed 1 Kokanee and lost 3 at the boat. Fish are scattered and from surface to 20'. Tried various lures Trolling speed around 1.2mph
We did fish it for about 3 hours on the May 8th. Marked some decent fish around 35-45’. Had a couple reluctant hits but didn’t get anything in the boat. Was nice to see some though. Water maybe a little too cold still? We were seeing about 50-51 degrees. Hoping they get going in the next couple of weeks.
Went to LP today and fishing was very slow. Hooked 3 fish but all got off. Marked very few and mostly on the surface . Only action was on Brad's Cut Bait
Same here. Fished for about 3 hours and had one strike and didn’t see many at all. Still at least a few weeks away!
I think when the water level finally gets consistent it will get better. It went up 15’ or so in 2 weeks and water was very murky. That ain’t helping!
I hope so. I was up at LP this morning. Yes it is a full pool, water temp was 61 degrees and the water was surprisingly clear. Didn't fish though. Had some boat issues.
My son in law and his wife caught 7 Kokanee and 4 trout trolling yesterday at the Lucky Peak reservoir

Thanks for the report. My boat is in the shop to check out some motor problems I really want to get out! Where did you find the Kokanee?
Bes Regards,
Bob Kaehler
We’ve been seeing them from the dam for about a half mile up the reservoir. They’re still scattered and you have to put in the time to find them but they are there. We were there for about 4 hours this evening and landed 6 and a few rainbows. Lost another 4 but I just know they were kokes! Lol have to fight for room against the jet skiers and go fast guys
Go really early or really late!
You might give a call to Byron Artrip 937 572 9838 as he lives within 5 miles of the reservoir and fishes it regularly. Tell him Doug advised the call. Good luck fishing!
