Was fishing for largemouth in the Yeopin Creek area. No luck, figure I’d venture out into the Ablemare in search for white perch. No luck. Experienced a first ever for me, was visited by a large pod of Dolphins. Was only in a 14’ foot boat. Was absolutely thrilled to have played with them for about 45 minutes.

Very cool Appraiser! I've only been up close with them in Florida, where they escorted us around the canals. Thanks for the picture.

WOW. Normally when that happens they feel you are in danger. You may not see it but it’s there.

When you see dolphins, you seldom catch any fish. If I see a dolphin, I'm out of there.

Figured they had already chased the fish away, so I didn’t even went a line. Just enjoyed the fun

Hey Fred, I’ve only encountered them in Florida also. We are mostly freshwater here, so I was delightfully surprised

I've see them offshore up here, out by the Canyons, but never inshore. We used to visit my inlaws in St.Pete, and rent boats at John's Pass. Every time we motored through the canals, we had a couple on each side of the boat, just cruising around. Very cool.

So true. They are feeding and fish get out of their way.
