I buy a few things from Sam's wholesale club but it's things that don't have dates on them, I like to look before I buy.

I buy a lot of staples online for pickup. Saves me a lot of time and hassle.

Knot so fast
I was the guy asking about the collapsible traps.I found them everywhere, I was wondering if any one had used one with any success as I like to trap bait or dig worms so if that skunk raises his head I can say at least I caught something. The bar talk says that traps have to be silver and metal. That's what I use now but trying to downsize gear as my truck become an suv. Tight lines

Both annoying as hell and sometimes so very interesting.....how the initial ask sometimes becomes so very distorted in these threads, huh ?
Not unlike my ability to interrupt my own self, and send the conversation down a completely different path than the original intent....lol.

To actually address your query....
Sorry, don't have any experience with any type but the ones that are two rigid parts that clasp together w/ bait bag or mesh box inside. I always take a 5gal bucket in my vehicle anyway, so it fits fine inside....even with the catch, be it fish or arthropod crustaceans (crayfish, shrip, crabs). Please let us know what you find, purchase and experience.....always in search of "compacting" my fishing gear, any way possible.
(So far it always EXPANDS....not contracting at all, no matter what I try to implement, but just keeps growing and growing and growing.....hehehe.)

My ex-wife always quipped that I should just get a HFrt trailer and build a big box on it that contains ALL my fishing gear, so I could just hitch it on and go, lessening the amount of time picking and choosing what to take and how to pack it in whichever vehicle we were taking that day.
She might be on to something......idk.
