Me and 2 grandsons and great grandson went to our new Hotspot this morning. We had a good day of catching with a total of 19 lmb 12 bluegills and 1 catfish. The grandsons were using plastic worms rigged Texas style and did real well. I was helping my great grandson using night crawlers, he is six years old and been fishing π£ since he was 3, I wanted him to have a day to remember so I didn't take a pole. He caught 1 catfish 2 bass and 10 gills, I had the most fun of all, watching him get all excited π

Congratulations on a great day fishing with grandsons and greatgrandsons, you are blessed.
Great! You don't even have to take grandkids if you don't have them. Take a neighbor's, a relative's. You will be amply rewarded.
Several years back, our Rotary club decided to take kids from an orphans home to a farm that had all kinds of recreation, I volunteered to help any who wanted to go fishing in a stocked pond.
Many of the kids fished for maybe 10 minutes and then off to other things.
But Sam, about 4 or 5, stuck with it. I baited his hook and cast it out in the pond. Sam then took over and in no time hooked about a 2-pound catfish. He was so excited he couldn't reel in the fish, he just ran backward up the bank, and was yelling: Its Sams, Its Sams, I have never seen anyone so excited over catching a fish. I doubt he will ever forget that experience. Just Sayin...RJS

Very true RJ...kids love it when a grown up provides an opportunity to be involved in their life with quality time!
