There was a post on here not too long ago with a guy looking for a minnow trap that didn't take up a lot of space. I answered the question with a reply to go to Temu as they had a collapsing one made with nylon that was less than $3.00. I have since seen more on their website that are even more interesting! They have one that has 6 to 8 openings for $5.00! They even have a video that shows a guy opening it. Thought it was cool to see and a good deal if anyone reading this still traps minnow or even if you did as a youngster. And if anyone is wary about ordering from Temu, I can tell you that I have ordered from them 4 times and so have many of my friends and neighbors. We use PayPal. You really need to check them out for fishing items. They have a kit of 10 trout type spinners for $5.00. My friend needed a new landing net and got a folding aluminum one with rubber netting for $17.00. Shipping is often free with a small minimum. You may have to wait a little longer than most sellers but not unreasonable at around 10 to 14 days.

Your right I ordered one time from them and it took forever to get the stuff and in the meantime I got 3-4 email's from them every day trying to sell more items ended up blocking them to stop it and lot's of the stuff you get what you pay for, just my opinion πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Hello Chucky, I am sorry you had a bad experience with the timing and e-mails and the quality. But, I and others have had nothing but positive ones. Every company has bad reviews, even Amazon and E-bay and others. As far as the quality goes, mine and others experiences have been good. Just one example, my cousin needed to replace his golf club grips. He ordered a set of 13 grips from Temu. These were Golf Pride. A major brand. He paid $43.00 with free shipping. He said that the exact same thing at the golf store would have been $120.00! He showed them to his golf buddies and they are going to get them. Also, what isn't made in China or other countries today? Is it better to go to Walmart and others and buy the exact same stuff with a markup, or save your money and eliminate the middleman? It would be great to buy everything American made but those days are gone.

With tools I’d probably be a bit more careful
Cheap tools are usually just that
But I’ve bought fishing gear from them and I will again

I've bought fishing stuff and kitchen gadgets and I'm satisfied. 8 to 10 days arrival time is normal.

Thanks for giving some reassurement on ordering from Temu. I have used Wish.com many times have usually gotten decent goods at what could be described as "pennies on the dollar"...ie: phone case better than my old Otter Box ($89) for $3.95 and protective glass screen cover....package of 4 for 99cents !(phone store wanted $40 for one). Even bought "Whopper Ploppers" for less than $2 each. Various fly packages at less than $5 for 12-24+, and includes a decent box....just dirt cheap for decent goods. Even have a couple of reels (both fly and spinning) that were less than $10. I guess I am going to have to try Temu now....like I need more gear...lol.
I too wish we could buy American, but the world just doesn't work that way any longer. Thanks for the assurance that Temu is safe.
ALWAYS use PayPal...could be sketchy otherwise.

I'm a electrician and have always bought Kilns tools for all my electrical work, just ordered some tie wraps, wire connectors and tape may be ok for homeowner's but would not use it on the job.
I'm going to try again and order some hooks and sinkers maybe a spinning reel for $10 and see what it's like πŸ˜‚
Hope everyone has a great week coming up 🎣🎣🎣🎣

Hello FixorFish. It sounds like you have had good luck with Wish so maybe don't need Temu unless they have stuff Wish doesn't have. One thing about Temu is people have told me that it can become addictive with their low prices and free shipping offers! As far as others saying about certain things like tools and such, well I can certainly agree with that. Tools ,fishing reels and certain other things I would be cautious. One thing that I have found out about is women's clothing by talking to or hearing from others is the bargains. So tell your wife or girl friends or maybe don't tell them. One woman went on the site while talking to her and after 5 minutes she told her husband that she would be ordering. She said several pieces of clothing she saw would be $25 to $30 in the store and was $10 to $ $15 on there. I mentioned in-line spinners in the initial post that were 10 for $5.00. I ask anyone who has seen them on the website to reply that they are junk! If you look at them, they are just like a lot of high priced spinners from major companies.

Another thing about Temu is that I have β€œreturned” a few things for dissatisfaction not what I expected or not being as shown (fishing gear has always been ok) and they gave me no problem told me to do whatever I wanted with the items and gave me a refund

One thought if you happen to order any t-shirts, or any such clothing from Wish.com.
Pay EXTREMELY CLOSE ATTENTION to any actual measurements that might be given as you scroll through the "pages" showing the product. Some simply offer S/M/L/XL/XXL/XXXL/XXXXL/XXXXXL !
Yeah....5XL !....which I.... in my SECOND order of a certain t-shirt....actually ordered.
I am 5'5", about 175+. The 5XL fit perfectly, the initial t-shirt (a 2xl) was given to a neighbor kid in middle school....lol.
The Chinese sizing is not even close to what we are used to....buyer be (A)WARE ! Quality? Kinda so-so.

As for tools ?.....meh...kinda like shopping Harbor Freight....some excellent deals on some useful items that you don't usually overly stress or have to use daily on the job, but much like using something by Sears Craftsman, instead of Milwaukee or Makita, professionals know the difference and don't mind paying for ACTUAL quality.*

*As my Dad taught me when I, at age 9 or 10, questioned why he was buying a pair of needlenose pliers that cost $12, when there's a similar looking pair right next to those for $3.99. "Son, every dollar you spend on everything you ever buy, is sorta gonna make you cry when you no longer have that dollar, but when that cheap pair breaks or fails to do the job properly like the good ones certainly will....and you "cry" once more, you'll be glad you spent the extra money. In short....just cry once, okay ?"

Those pliers were so shiny, with their chrome plated finish, the best ones Montgomery Wards had...Powercraft brand....the wirecutter was excellent, extremely strong nose, excellent machining on the striated inside of the "noses" for gripping, in short...a really fine tool.
Dad gave them to me (He always knew that I coveted them, but he knew that
I would never abscond with them for myself, because I certainly knew to always respect your Father AND HIS TOOLS...ALWAYS), along with a great ladder and a Weber BBQ grill, as housewarming gifts when I bought my first house at age 26.
Still have...and use...those shiny pliers and the ladder (have replaced the Weber) regularly, 43+ years later !
I always think of my Dad and his "Cry Once" philosophy, every time I use them or vacillate over the price of almost anything I buy, that I have to rely on its performance, long-term.

An aside to the tools from Wish.com....I have lately actually seen Milwaukee and Makita, as well as Dewalt on Wish.com....at hardware store+ pricing. However, shipping might totally negate any savings if there was any in the first place.
I just might have to check out Temu, however you have to download the app to get full access....meaning MANY MORE EMAILS FROM TEMU, every morning, I'm certain, just like Wish.com does....might be worth the hassle (?).

Temu (90% off) , (price just dropped)
This is what I am getting right now while we are talking to each other I'v got 5-6 ads from them on this forum. How do you take 90% off of penny's on the dollar already... Sorry for being negative about this but like I said earlier I had to block Temu because so many of email's every day. I don't think I'm going to even give them another chance. Long time back I tried Wish.com and it turned out to be a bad deal like FixorFish said nothing is sized right.. I guess all said I really like to look, hold and see the product I buy BASS PRO SHOP, here I come again πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ just my opinion

I like getting packages delivered but seeing touching and holding is my favorite, I don’t understand how people can buy groceries online but they do.
