Simply put:
It's not "legal" to sell recreational caught fish, UNLESS you have commercial license. I thank all you guy's for your service! 👍
So true but I have seen them doing it. Like I said earlier. Some don’t fish and the guy I know buys by the case (300.00-350.00) and clean them and sale them. Then at our big stock yard on Saturday they sale shrimp and fish. The cops be right out there and just don’t do anything.

That's cool Troy, I know it goes on, just seemed like there was a question about it, but heck, anything legal if you don't get caught lol 😂 May I add, that's an awesome catch of sea mullet, I love em, great job sir!

Yes. We had so much fun. We started with 2 rods each. After a few minutes we both went to 1 rod a piece. Fishing a Carolina bottom rig. 3 hooks on each line and most times we were catching 2 at a time. We both were worn out. Shoulders hurting but still catching. They are still running in the surf but not as much. I am thinking those are the ones trying to catch up with the others who have already gone through. Right now the trouts has started to run. Red and black drum are getting slow. Seaview fishing pier is open year round. Too cold for me.

Recently someone posted they would be at Emerald this past week. Can’t remember who. My neighbor was on Bouge Inlet pier Saturday but fishing in the surf. Fresh shrimp is all he used. 164 nice mullets. Our limit in NC is 200 per day.
That's wild! What is preferred? Roasted, fried, smoked? They look great! I 'd be well fed for the season with a catch like that. That's a great catch.

Hi
Where did you buy your Fresh shrimp?
I have tried frozen shrimp and it doesn’t work very well.

Welcome aboard DD, you can buy fresh shrimp at Phillips Seafood in between the 2 bridges in Swansboro
I live in Hubert and generally get my frozen shrimp from Neuses.

You can also find it at Island Dr on weekends, a vendor sets up a little hut, right where you turn on Island Dr, can't miss it, or just buy some Fish Bites synthetic shrimp, it work's, last a long time on hook too, doesn't pull off easy, I think the pier sells it, also Reel Outdoors tackle shop.
I tried fish gum without much success. Fresh shrimp sounds really good.
