Have anyone been catching any croaker’s in Maryland waters
Sure like to know. Haven't seen decent size croaker in a long time
Perch and rock fishing is fun but fighting those croaker’s when they hit your line it’s nothing like it
Try the choptank put your boat in at the ramp across the bridge take squid peelers pam cooking spray to spray your baits
Last time I caught descent croakers was over12 yr or more. Back in the 2003 to 2008 I caught 18 to 19 inch croakers regularly from the shore at Pax River
Now you lucky if you can get a 9 inch one.
We are catching 2” croakers while trying to catch white perch near Annapolis. They keep stealing our grass shrimp.
That won't even grease the pan!
I think it's those gill netters sweeping everything decent out before they even get to the rivers

There have been Croaker here in the Tidewater area but not much of size.
That’s the reason I bought my boat in 2009 because I loved catching croaker’s. Every time I went out I will fill my casket cooler to the top especially when I went to Tappahannock Virginia fishing out of the Rappahannock River. Bushwood, Chesapeake beach, point lookout, Solomon’s Island. I’m thinking about selling my boat now 🤔
Crisfield Maryland we used to fish right in main town before docks cath the all day

Down here we also use hard crab which works as well as peeler crab.
I buy a box of frozen shrimp with the heads on for $19 from the international market and they love them shrimp, I cut them up in three pieces
I think that YOU are part of the problem!!!!
