Caught this channel cat on my homemade float rig on a kayak last night it was a blast little guy but I’ll take it also caught a bass in my cast net while I was throwing for bait fish. I love fishing Nock still trying to catch a striper but soon enough that will happen

Hey, nice catching, Ivankast! Curious to see what your float rig looks like. Can you upload a snapshot?

I fed a 4’ leader to a 75pd test quick connect with a 6” piece of pool float noodle wrapped around a pencil float

That's really cool--Ivank, way to repurpose pool noodles! I got about half dozen in the shed that's doing nothing but collecting dust and taking up space that just might now be taking a new direction. Have to ask though, and excuse my ignorance, but why would you need more buoyancy than what the pencil bobber already has?

The pencil bobber disappears when you put a whole blue gill or shad on the hook

Gotcha, makes sense. Didn't know how much you loaded up your hook!
