I am always amazed by the blessings God bestows on us, even in spite of ourselves! Years ago I heard this expression, which I like:

Interesting question. I’m not sure I ever prayed for change. I pray for guidance and protection.

Sure there will be pitfalls. Even mountain to climb. God never promised us that these things would not happen. He did promise us that no matter what state we find ourselves in he would always be with us. This is where FAITH and trusting God comes in. Just think of Jesus and what he went through on his journey. It wasn’t easy by no means. His willingness just for us. His love for ALL mankind made it possible for us to be here today.

Amen. So often we dig our on way deeper over and over. This is the Bible tells us that Man ought to ALWAYS pray. Speaking only for myself. I have had many pitfalls but I knew that some how and some way God would bring me out.

We all do that Papa Jack. Have you notice that when we get in the way it slows down? I think it’s because God says ok I will let you handle this and see just how far that will go for you.

G-man we don’t pray for God to change HIS plans. God knows what is best for us. Although we don’t see it but God knows our plans before we even think of it/them. The part of the journey is we don’t know what God plans are for us. Therefore we pray and asked God what is plans are for us. Then we LISTEN. We can pray all we want but God plans does not nor will they ever change. He knows what’s best for us. Your question is why change perfection? The Bible tells us NONE is perfect but the Father (God) so his plans for us is perfect. We will never be perfect. This is another reason why we pray. Seeking for answers for the path and journey God has for us.
