You're right. I tie flies all winter as well as airbrush all my casting plugs. Taught flyl tying for a few years at three different shops. Still use a lot of bait though

I have my 12/14 year old Renzetty had to send it out
for a little TLC repair if they can grip a little loose
Maybe I will have to get a new bench top but we will see
I fish some fresh water for Bass ,/ Pike/ using frog top water streamer. Drivers etc with floating line
Also some salt water top water streamers popper
For rockfish seatrout Blues Maceral etc but mostly spinning rod and bay reel for other fish like Cobea drum seatrout and stuff

Fly I'm usually looking for smallmouth. Have just about any type of rod you can name except ice fushing. Never did that.

No ice fishing for me either my luck with ice I fall through and loose the fish too.
