Will be in Eagle Nest this June. Will be fishing the cimarron river between eagle nest and cimarron at the gravel pit in maverick campground..with all the snow meltoff..how will the trout fishing be..I won't be flyfishing..just spincasting diving mini trout plugs.and worms...did really well last year

Should be fine this year as well usin the same thing. Be sure and post pics.

Good luck. Daughter & boyfriend are taking us to lake heron in June. Hope to get some salmon
