You did a great job with some difficult fishing conditions!!! Great fish!! Seeing how I did not get one bite at all I’m glad you were able to put some fish in the boat!!🎣
Hey buddy I’m just glad we had a boat to put them in! Thanks again for everything!

Really sorry I missed this meeting greet. Sounds like you guys had a great time. I’m deathly going to try to be there next year to feed you all some Croppie because Clearlake has the best Croppie fishing around it. What is the campground close enough to the lake to catfish Lexi like you guys sure cuts and toads do sometimes it clearly night fishing can be awesome for Bas. Can’t wait to see y’all next year new to the forum Don10, Northern California.
Hey Don10, we would love to have you! Welcome to the fishing stage! Good luck and be safe!!

What a great get together. There were bout 16 of us for sure but it's possible I missed someone so there might have been more.
Great people, great stories and GREAT food.
The fishin and weather could have been better but hey, that's Mother Nature for ya.
Thanks to all for your attendance and participation to make this years M&G such a success. But especially Rhyan and Denny for setting things up and having a home campsite for the evenings gatherings.
Our hats go off to Bric, Jeremy and OBG for the most miles traveled to be there.
Bric from Montana, Jeremy from Oregon and OBG from So Cal.
So many cool guys and new people that I'll be fishin with more in the future.
SO lookin forward to next year. Hopefully even more guys will be able to attend.
If you were thinkin of something or some place to go or do for a vacation or get away you should plan on next years M&G at Clearlake. You'll definitely NOT regret it... Saw1.
It was a pleasure and an honor to meet so many wonderful people. Thinking about what a good time ee had during absolutely the worst possible fishing conditions, I can't help anticipating an M&G with good weather/fishing. With my third big fishing trip ruined by the weather and knee replacement pending in June, I took my bad mood and boat up to Lakeport Sunday afternoon. The water was a little warmer (64). I caught two and should have had a limit but failed to get a good hookset on the Bandito Bug I was flipping, on several fish. Didn't see any fish on beds but I did see several big females cruising the shallows. Threw the kitchen sink at them but no takers. We just missed it by a few days boys and that really blows. I packed up and went home Sunday night.
Thanks Ryan for all you did. You are the man. I snapped this pic to show I caught fish Sunday so I'll break my self imposed 5 lb rule and here are some pics of what the North Lake looks like.
It truly is a bass fishing paradise where it is possible to use every bass fishing technique in existence except, a drop shot 60 feet or deeper.

Ryan and I got to the M&G on Friday morning around 9:30am, left to go back home on Sunday at 9:00am. Had a blast at M&G! Once again Dennys camp was the spot, so good to meet and hang out with everyone! Especially O.B.G and bric! The weather was a big factor for the fishing, it rained on and off Friday and most of that night. Saturday started out with rain, cleared up mid morning, after it cleared up everyone got on the lake, Saturday all the boats got at least 1 fish, Ryan and I fished Fri. Afternoon till the rain took us off the lake. No fish Friday for us, Saturday was a better day I caught 2 nice Bass! After loosing what I think was huge cat fish! I was so bummed out after that I new the fish were few and far in between, so with the rain Ryan and I probably were on the water for maybe 12 hours total. What I enjoyed most about the M&G was sitting around the camp fire with all the guys! Jarhead, barnacles, and his brother, Jeramy, Nor Cal Steve, Steve (Saw1) , Ben, Denny and Airgerk! Oh ya don’t let me forget Tom little! What a great guy! Willing to take any guys out on his boat that don’t already have a spot on a boat. If I left anyone out I apologize it was great to meet you! I can’t end this with out thanking Ryan for all he did not only setting up this years M&G! But all he did to get his Jeep ready to make sure we had a boat to fish out of. Good luck and be safe! And can’t wait for next year’s M&G!

Steve thanks for showing me some of the lake I’ve never seen! Great photos, it was great to see you again! I’ll start fishing Spring lake in late June that seems to be when the bigger fish start biting! Hopefully you can make down this way and we can fish for monsters together! Sure hope your knee replacement goes smoothly! Good luck and be safe!!
