Deerfield NW of Hill City, Sheridan N of Hill City, Pactola Reservoir and Horse Thief between Hill City and the Faces. I never fished Sylvan, but lots do.

I haven't fished it since last winter but we caught about 50 rainbows so I'm sure you could catch some. Good luck

Hey John: My brother and I have fished Center Lake when I come to visit every year and have caught trout each time using nightcrawlers. Usually smaller (7 to 9") stocked Brook and Rainbow trout the past couple years. The whole family gather at Deerfield every Labor Day week-end to camp and fish for the week and everyone catches trout. I caught my personal best of 2 pounds and 17" last summer. Had gool luck at Sylvan lake last summer too. Can't seem to access any pictures to attach.
