Finally, after a longer than normal winter, followed by an extensive tour of Ireland and Scotland, I got on the water. Felt so good. 😁 Smallies & largemouth, plus 4 large pikes. Aaaaah, just feels so good. All fish released to fight again

Nice
Have a great season and a safe one

Nice congrats on your first outing! Good to see you back at it. Garey got two at Clear lake this morning. But I won’t steal his thunder.

That's a beauty! Glad you're no longer 'dumfungled' after all that travelling to Scotland and Ireland.

I am envious. I’m taking the boat out next Monday. Looking forward to it.
Just curious, did you do any fishing while you’re in Scotland? I spent some time there in the mid-70s, work related, no fishing sadly.
I recall it being a slower pace and just relaxed friendly communities. I’d like to revisit but my concern is that it may have changed so much it would shatter my memories. Anyhow, beautiful country, both Scotland and Montana. 👍👍

No doubt in that many years gone by, it has changed… but I don’t think you would be disappointed. People were great, and country is beautiful. As much as I would have love breaking out a fly rod, it was all tourist stuff. Interestedly, I never saw anyone fishing on those waters… but they d sad ire looked fishey

Very Nice JB! Great looking bass, and I See some Snow still up on the mountains, so you’ll have fresh water for your fishing holes for the summer! That’s always a good thing. 😀

Great to see you back on the water JB, and catching already! I too noticed a twitch of a smile. Did you get into any of the pubs? Irish pubs are a lot of fun, right up there with the Aussies. Stay safe and keep them lines Tight
