You ever have one of those days where something happens and you and your fishing partner drive home in silence. Well it happened to me yesterday between me and my 1st mate. I forgot and didn't bring his wet weather gear because I didn't think it was going to rain but for maybe a sprinkle or 2. But I guessed that wrong at one point the rain was coming down pretty good. My first mate he's pretty much a fair weather dog. He's really not into to going out into the rain or even the wind and we had both yesterday. I tried putting the top up on the boat for him. But and he still wasn't having any of it. So I called it day and off the water 2:00. But I guess I that wasn't early enough for him. He gave me the cold shoulder all the way home and then some

That's funny.
I don't think he would have treated you any differently if you had remembered it.
He would still be pissed that "You were stupid enough to take ME out on a day like this, REALLY !" LOL.
They are funny critters sometimes.

Yes they ate funny partner's 😁, I had a lab do that to me on a Quail hunt and on a duck.
Or during duck season if we didn't go every weekend she would pout all weekend!!!and she would know when it was hunting season !!
Have a great safe season.

A T Bone steak fixed medium rare just might get you out of the dog house 4t.

The way to redemption is through his belly.

And don't do that again.

I can relate to that OJ many times over, Britt would look at me and his expression would say “ really”? That was a cake shot!
