planning on camping on reservoir mid may for pike fishing. does anybody know where to camp directly on the lake close to where i can have close access to the weedbeds. i have a heavy pedal kayak and its a big lake so i need to be as close as possible since my kayak is carried on my popup i need to launch from campsite. Any tips on the pike fishing there would be greatly appreciated.
Lazy boy campground has a couple sites close to the water. There’s some great walk-in sites that you access by parking at Coyote Ridge Nature Trail parking area.

Little early for pike. Trout are active but wait a month for pike.
