Decided to stop on the side of the road on the way down to the public boat launch right around knock-off time, wanted to test the new mono line on my little Crappie Rig. First cast and pulled up the first little guy, second cast nothing...right at the end when it was time to head to the launch to get some cats, the second little guy decided he wanted his picture taken too. Let both of em go, but I should have used them as bait for the catfish, not a one this time, but there was so much boat traffic that the wakes didn't stop. I guess its that time of year when the kids start racing their boats up and down the canals.

They are plenty fun, a little bigger and they'd have made a nice dinner on the grill with a little lemon pepper and fresh lime.

Yes they are and if they got as big as bass the tug would never end.

I used to hate em when I was a kid, but back then, all I wanted was to land bigguns. They always seemed to steal the bait before I could set the dog gone hook. But now-a-days, I love the little panfish, just took a little time to master cooking em.

Well MF, you got a nice tackle test and had some fun. All and all a good day. Thanks for the pictures.

Lol, great day Fred! I know you guys like pictures, and after the SNAFU with that Choupique a few weeks back, I keep the phone handy just so I can share with you fine ladies and gentlemen.
