For lake access, Battle Ground, Lacamas and Vancouver lake, also Klineline Pond. You and get pretty good shore access from any of these. Lake Merwin park can have pretty good access near the Merwin Park. These are probably your best bet for easy to catch fish, mostly rainbows.

For salmon best bet from the bank is just south of Longview at Willow Grove park. Good access to Kalama and Cowlitz rivers within 20 miles of you for steelhead and salmon.
