Just want to say hi, I usually fish pool 10 between Bagley and Prairie du Chien a couple times a week. Haven't got my boat in yet but getting things ready. I seem to have best luck around the Wyalusing boat ramp area. Looking forward to chatting it up with some -seasoned- fishers!

Welcome to the Stage, Yguy, I'm above you in pool 8. Lot's of fishermen below the Dresbach Dam but I haven't been out yet because my wife has lung cancer and we are in the process of moving from Caledonia, MN. to Onalaska, WI. I think the water temp. is still a little cool yet but, I would imagine that they are getting the little sauger and little male walleye. The river is also getting pretty high, be careful out there. Good luck, we do love pictures.
Yes sometime you could nearly walk accross the river from boat to boat by some of those locks.. I have a few things going this spring so won't have boat in til mid May. Good luck on the move and tell you wife prayers!...Damn cancer!
Welcome Yyyyyguy,
I fish the Mississippi from Prairie du Chien to Desoto and the Wisconsin River around Boscobel. I haven’t gotten the boat on the water yet, but it is ready right now. I enjoy fishing for gills, crappies, perch and walleyes.
