I would recommend using eel (crabs will eat everything else) and 8 oz spider/spudnik wt.

Agreed. Although I haven’t had a problem with crab there in quite a while, grass shrimp, ghost shrimp, eel and roe are all good baits for eckley.

Good to hear. I haven't been to Eckley in about 10 years.
Should be good for stripers now/soon.

went to eckley 2 days in a row last week not even a bite both days, laid some shrimp traps not even shrimp my first day, 2nd day i finally found some grass shrimp, switched dogfood to catfood, apparently they are picky eaters
