Call the stores in Weitchpec or Orleans. They guide out of them and their usually up to date.

Hi Mike- I have caught a lot of fish at the confluence of the Klamath and Trinity Rivers at Weitchpec just not this time of year. Spring Salmon should start showing up in that area in May/June. There is also an early run of steelhead on the Klamath that reaches that area in mid to late August. Good luck and let us know how you did!

Be prepared for some fast water. I was on the Trinity two days ago and they are releasing a lot of water out of the dams, plus runoff coming in. I imagine the Klamath is the same. Too fast for wading.
