Has anyone been out to potholes lately? Planning a trip in May just wondering if anyone has any tips? I will be staying at the state park.

Check in with the MarDon store. They stay up to the minute with fishing reports and what's working. Should be good fishing for Walleye, Trout, Small and Large mouth bass, and panfish like crappie and perch. You have a boat or fishing from shore? From shore, Powerbait and/or worms work well for trout. Trolling, a #5 or #7 Flicker Shad in perch or fire tiger would be a good bet. Troll slow for walleye (0.8mph), faster for trout (1.5-3.0). If shore fishing or wanting to explore a little, there are dozens of good lakes nearby that are well worth fishing. Good luck!
