An oldie, but a good 'un.....

The madam opened the brothel door in Winnipeg and saw a rather dignified, well-dressed, good-looking man in his late forties or early fifties.

"May I help you sir?" she asked.

The man replied, "I want to see Valerie."

"Sir, Valerie is one of our most expensive ladies. Perhaps you would prefer
someone else", said the madam.

He replied, "No, I must see Valerie."

Just then, Valerie appeared and announced to the man she charged $5000 a visit.

Without hesitation, the man pulled out five thousand dollars and gave it to Valerie, and they went upstairs.

After an hour, the man calmly left. The next night, the man appeared again, once more demanding to see Valerie.

Valerie explained that no one had ever come back two nights in a row as she was too expensive.

"There are no discounts. The price is still $5,000."

Again, the man pulled out the money, gave it to Valerie, and they went upstairs.

After an hour, he left.

The following night the man was there yet again.

Everyone was astounded that he had come for a third consecutive night. He paid Valerie and they went upstairs.

After their session, Valerie said to the man, "No one has ever been with me three nights in a row. Where are you from?"

The man replied, " Nova Scotia."

"Really," she said. "I have family in Nova Scotia ."

"I know," the man said. "Your sister died, and I am her attorney. She asked me to give you your $15,000.00 inheritance."

The moral of the story is that three things in life are certain:

1. Death
2. Taxes
3. Being screwed by a lawyer!

BTW, are you near the infamous "Best Little W****house in Texas"? It was near LaGrange in Fayette County. Also do you fish Fayette County Lake? A friend just caught a 24" largemouth, paper weight 8.52# during an ACBC Retiree tournament.

No, I am a couple hundred miles from LaGrange and Fayette Country Lake. I understood from locals that the bait of choice at Fayette Lake are mud puppies. One of my 'Nam buddies (since passed) lived just a stone's throw from the infamous brothel. Lake Whitney is about 35 miles NW of Waco, Tx.

Tight lines, brother

Know where Whitney is but never fished it. Used to fish Stillhouse Hollow a lot and Lake Belton some. Caught my PB smallmouth on Stillhouse 3.25#. My PB largemouth was at a July night tournament on LBJ. She was 24" only 7.5# that time of year and in that heat. Thus the reason for night tournaments. Another old Austin friend just last week caught his PB largemouth. 11.8#. That's a hog. The Toyota Share Lunker program is working as Texas is rivaling Florida for Bass Capital of the US.O.H. Ivey is hot right now with 13's+ coming out. I really miss the great bass fishing but I have three great grands here and ya just can't spoil'em from 1100 miles. Plus they all love to fish so that's now my main focus.

Good luck fishing this spring BF

It is my understanding that Lake Fork may be the premier lunker bass lake in Texas, if not the nation. BTW, I did read of Ivie's outstanding crop of 13+ lunkers this year
