Where on Erie do you go when you come back home?
J, I launch out of Sterling State park usually…walleyes and smallmouth 1st or 2nd week of May.
It varies with who I'm going with. I like Port Clinton, Huron river area, out of the Cuyahoga River ,it doesn't burn anymore and have done well out of Fairport Harbor.

Those are all my stomping grounds I live between the Cuyahoga and the Rocky. Go west when possible because western basin holds more fish. Grew up on east side fishing Chagrin and Grand (Fairport). PM me if you come around I’ll get you some info and maybe we can hook up.

Learned most in Michigan geography Michigan history. Love it. Lake st Clair still best small mouth and musky. In nation born and raised off a canal in anchor bay. Shot lots of ducks. 60-70s. Been in Alaska for 36 plus years, looking for a house swap. Any interest? 3-4 weeks. Summer I want walleye, crappie, and perch. Sick of halibut and salmon. 👍
Very cool facts, enjoyed reading, thanks!!!
