3/28/23 "What A Difference A Day Makes". No water, no fish. Fishing for me on extra low tide is never good. After good crappie fishing the last two mornings I only caught two crappie this morning. But they were good ones at 10" and 11". Tomorrow the tide won't be right until about 10:00 am. Maybe! LOL! I released the two crappie. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=upJ3OgMRiUA LOL!

We do not catch many Crappie in tidal waters but when fishing in rivers, they bite better when the water level is higher.

Yes that's the same with me Jim. The fishing where I fish not good on low dead tides. Dead tide is when water is not moving or moving very slow. I think bass fishermen like low tide. I did when I use to bass fish in my boat.

I have found a falling tide is when Bass feed best. It is true for other fish too and also for Blue Crabs.

I also like a falling tide. When the tide is moving the fishing is good for other fish/pan fish. I don't know about blue cats.
